- Universal Credit (UC)
- Income Support (IS)
- Income-based Jobseeker's Allowance (JSA)
- Income-related Employment and Support Allowance (ESA)
- Child Tax Credit (CTC)
- Working Tax Credit (WTC)
- Pension Credit (income related)
- Housing Benefit

From December 2025 Cumberland Council will exercise a discretionary disregard of all War Pension Scheme Payments, including all tariffs and awards, all Armed Forces Compensation Scheme (AFCS) payment, Service Invaliding Pensions (SIPs) and Service Attributable Pensions (SAPs).
