Book a bulky waste collection, check what we collect, and how to prepare items for collection.

Only book a collection once you have read the guidance below and confirmed your items are suitable.

What a bulky waste collection is

A bulky waste collection is for large household items that cannot go in your refuse bin.

Examples include:

  • sofa
  • mattress
  • bed base
  • fridge freezer
  • TV
  • furniture
  • carpet (roll)

How much it costs

It costs £41 for up to three items collected from your kerbside.

Additional items cost £7 each.

If you have more than six items, we may need to visit first to give a quote.

Where to place your items

You must place your items at one of the following locations:

  • on the pavement outside your property
  • at the pavement end of your driveway, with nothing blocking access
  • in a driveable back lane, if you receive a waste collection from there and access is not blocked

If your items are not placed correctly, we will not collect them and you will not be refunded.
