Cumberland Home Improvement Agency helps people stay safe and independent in their own homes. They offer advice and practical support, including help with home adaptations through Disabled Facilities Grants, housing grants to support hospital discharge or reduce the risk of going into hospital or residential care, and grants for home safety and gas safety. If you or someone you support has a housing‑related issue, you are encouraged to get in touch for advice.

Typical support can include things like key safes, boiler repairs or servicing, one‑off cleans, electrical safety checks and dementia‑friendly measures, but the service focuses on what matters most to each person and is flexible about what support can be funded.
