At Garden Linx, we offer more than just gardening—we provide a work-based learning environment where individuals can develop practical horticultural skills, build independence, and grow in confidence. Every day is an opportunity to connect with nature, learn something new, and make a meaningful contribution.

Rooted in the community
We’re proud to play an active role in our local area. Recently, we partnered with Network Rail to adopt and maintain local train stations, helping to create a welcoming space for travellers. We also work alongside Grass Roots and Cumbria in Bloom and help care for the plants at Cumbria House—bringing colour and life to public spaces.

From seed to sale
Our annual plant and produce sales are a highlight of the year, open to all and always a great success. With several greenhouses and a nearby allotment, we grow our own fruit and vegetables, which are used in our popular healthy eating sessions—promoting wellbeing and sustainability.

Team spirit
Garden Linx proudly participates in our day service football team, ‘DentonLinx’, part of the Learning Disability FA League, training alongside Carlisle United Disability Football—promoting teamwork, fitness, and fun.

Our team is deeply committed to person-centred care. We communicate with each individual in their preferred way and continuously adapt our timetable to reflect their evolving interests and goals. We proudly collaborate with national charities to promote inclusive communication, ensuring everyone has a voice.
