Testimonials
'After my hip replacement, I needed help with daily tasks I’d always managed myself—bathing, getting dressed, even preparing a cup of tea. I was worried about losing my independence, but the carers from Unique gave me just the right balance of support and encouragement. They were never intrusive, always respectful, and genuinely uplifting. Thanks to their help and the exercises they encouraged me to do, I’m now back on my feet and stronger than ever. I actually looked forward to their visits—they were more like friends than carers.'
'Living with early-onset dementia is frightening, but the team at Unique makes things feel manageable. They support me in ways that feel empowering, not limiting. They help with the practical things—like making sure I’ve taken my medication and getting to appointments—but also make time for a chat and a laugh. They use simple reminders, notes around the house, and memory prompts to help me stay as independent as possible. I feel seen, not just cared for, and that means the world to me. They’ve helped me keep living my life with dignity and joy.'
'My brother has complex physical and learning disabilities, and finding the right care team was something we worried about for years—until we found Unique Option. From the very beginning, they listened to us, took the time to understand his routines, communication style, and medical needs. The carers are consistent, highly trained, and genuinely compassionate. They’ve made our whole family feel included and supported, always updating us and involving us in planning. Most importantly, they treat my brother with respect and kindness, not as a patient, but as a person. It’s a huge relief knowing he’s in safe, capable hands.'
