Keswick Rotary Club is a charity, and community support is a priority. The CA12 Community Socials- Tea and Chat project is renamed from the 2022-2023 CA12 Winter Warmth programme: this reflects the emphasis on community and social interaction, which distinguished the successful 3 Centres (of an initial 8 which opened last Winter)- nobody reported coming to a warm spot to save on energy, and numbers attending increased in line with the increased emphasis on meeting people and company. A fourth , new location has been opened on a test basis in the Windebrowe area of CA12. A Rotary project team organises and publicises the 4 weekly sessions, and raises necessary funding to cover any costs.
