Warm Spots

A Warm Spot offers a warm, welcoming space for people to visit this winter if they need it. They are run by a range of different organisations including churches, village halls, local councils and libraries.

Healthy Hopes Cumbria drop-in (Whitehaven)

Our drop-ins are a place where people 18+ can come for a cuppa and chat on a weekly basis in a group environment. Sometimes we have guest speakers from other organisations to give information/advice of what goes on in our area.

Rosehill

A welcoming, warm space to reduce isolation amongst local residents. It provides this by excellent community collaboration between services, hard working staff members and volunteers running the space.
The friendly space provides a free wholesome lunch and to improve wellbeing offers varied creative sessions each week.
We offer unlimited hot and soft cold drinks. A warm lunch is provided, a hearty warm soup, roll and a cake. Throughout the morning we also offer fruit and biscuits.
We open to everyone in the local community who is feeling isolated and/ or need the support keeping warm and fed.

People can expect a warm place to sit and socialise with games and a warm drinks, soup and a bun!
