Warm Spots

A Warm Spot offers a warm, welcoming space for people to visit this winter if they need it. They are run by a range of different organisations including churches, village halls, local councils and libraries.

Hallbankgate Hub

Busy community space, shop and cafe. separate quiet area with library, gallery, comfy chairs. Tea and coffee available, cakes, soup and snacks.
We would be offering subsidised tea and coffee. The cafe serves home made soup, scones and home made bread, beans on toast and cakes.
Anyone would be welcome to come and use our warm space and spend time at the Hub. They could bring their own computer, or read books from the library, a newspaper, or watch the word go by!
The Hub has a paid manager but the day to day running is done by volunteers. It is a friendly and welcoming place.
