Warm Spots

A Warm Spot offers a warm, welcoming space for people to visit this winter if they need it. They are run by a range of different organisations including churches, village halls, local councils and libraries.

Register your own Warm Spot 

Carlisle Youth Zone

CYZ Winter Warm Zone is for young people aged 7 - 18yrs (up to 24yrs with additional needs). Young people can now access our Youth Clubs free and receive a free hot meal and drink. Our Senior members (11yrs+) can also access our after school gym for free
A warm drink is available during every session and a free hot meal will also be provided during our Youth Clubs (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday).

Rosehill

A welcoming, warm space to reduce isolation amongst local residents. It provides this by excellent community collaboration between services, hard working staff members and volunteers running the space.
The friendly space provides a free wholesome lunch and to improve wellbeing offers varied creative sessions each week.
We offer unlimited hot and soft cold drinks. A warm lunch is provided, a hearty warm soup, roll and a cake. Throughout the morning we also offer fruit and biscuits.
We open to everyone in the local community who is feeling isolated and/ or need the support keeping warm and fed.

St Marys Church Westfield

Warm friendly and inclusive space.Free breakfast, newspapers and WiFi. Good company. Dominoes and Cards.Bring your own craft. Toys and games for children.
Free breakfast, cooked breakfast with veggie option. Toast and cereal.

Food to take away

St. Mary's Warm Space (Maryport)

Warm Welcome and refreshment of their own choice. People who are both trained and volunteer 'listeners' with full access to advice from Food Bank providers.
Hot Drinks, Hot Food & Soup (Tinned) with toast, bread, biscuits and cake as available.
Open to All, and open during Food Bank Hours so that people can use both facilities on Tuesdays and Thursdays

The Solway Hall

People can expect a warm place to sit and socialise with games and a warm drinks, soup and a bun!
