School Cleaner

The Governors of St. Bridget’s C of E School, Parton, Whitehaven, are looking to appoint a School Cleaner

Start date: 1st September 2025

Part-time, Fixed Term 2 years due to current school needs
(7.5 hrs per week 3.30pm to 5.00pm – 38 weeks term Time + 1 week + annual leave
entitlement)
OP1 £24,309 (FTE) per annum pro rata  ( this includes the living wage supplement £12.60 per hour )

We are looking for someone who:
• Can ensure effective school cleaning
• Works well on their own and has a sense of humour• Is determined to make a difference to the school community
• Is able to work within structured timings but also be flexible

We offer a great working environment with friendly staff, parents and children.

ALSO free place in after school club for any children you have at the school (after school club is 3.30pm to 5pm). Note that there may be odd occasions when you will need back-up childcare, if the club isn’t running.
