Early Years Teacher

Fixed term - Full time

Required from 23rd February 2026. This is a fixed term full time position due to staff reorganisation, initially until August 2026.  

An exciting opportunity has arisen and the Governors of Gosforth C of E Primary School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and well-motivated Early Years teacher to join our hard working and dedicated team. This position will be based in our pre-school class.  

The successful candidate will: 
• Experience in teaching in Early Years.
• Believe in an inclusive approach to education so that all learners are set high expectations and are challenged to achieve their best.  
• Be a passionate and caring teacher. 
• Have the skills to positively promote the progress, aspirations and well-being of every child. 
• Ensure that children are safe and secure in their school environment with an emphasis on their safeguarding needs. 
• Be an excellent communicator committed to being part of an effective team within the whole school community. 
• Be committed to their own professional development.
