Permanent Part Time Teaching Assistant
PCD5 - £25,989 per annum, pro rata for 24 hours (four days) per week term time only
Start Date – September 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter

St. Michael’s Primary School in Bothel is seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our warm and friendly school. With a small school community, fantastic facilities and a wonderful learning environment, we offer a close-knit school family where you’ll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of learners.

Key responsibilities include:
•    Working with individual children and / or groups to provide tailored support, under the guidance of the class teacher. This may involve some 1:1 support of a child.
•    Supporting the development of a safe, nurturing environment where children can thrive.
•    Assisting in the classroom with the smooth running of daily activities. This will initially be in KS2.
•    Building positive relationships with children, staff, and families to promote a collaborative learning experience.
The ideal candidate will have:
•    Experience working or training in a primary school setting
•    A passion for helping children achieve their full potential
•    Excellent communication and teamwork skills
•    A warm, caring, flexible and patient approach to supporting young learners
