Find your bin collection day
Use the residential waste calendar to select the address you would like to view collection information for.
When you are preparing your bins and containers for collection, please help us by:
- putting your waste and recycling out to be emptied before 7am on the day of your collection (6.30am in the former Allerdale area)
- not overloading the bin or place extra waste beside it, and only put out your bin or container if it is at least a third full
- putting your waste in the correct bin or container and put out for collection on the correct date
If there are gale force winds, please consider taking your recycling to a Household Waste Recycling Centre (HWRC) or a local recycling site instead.

Replacement 180 litre bins (Allerdale)
We’ve started the delivery of replacement 180 litre bins. If you have provided an email address when requesting a replacement bin, you will be contacted a day or a few days before the delivery.
We’ve had more than 10,500 requests for bins, so if you don’t get your replacement bin before the start or beginning of fortnightly collections, carry on using your existing bin and recycle as much as you can. If you can’t fit all your waste into your bin, you can put out up to two bags of excess waste.
We can't take orders for replacement 180 litre bins at the moment, but there will be another chance to order one between Tuesday 1 July and Thursday 31 July.
