Caring for Carers Programme (Family and Friends Hub)

The Caring for Carers Programme is a free support service for anyone caring for someone aged 14 or over with a mental health condition.

The Caring for Carers Programme is a free support service for anyone caring for someone aged 14 or over with a mental health condition. It is delivered by Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust through local Family and Friends Hubs.
The programme offers regular drop‑in sessions in a safe, relaxed environment where carers can talk, feel listened to and meet others in similar situations. There is no need to book.
Sessions provide practical support, including building skills to support the person you care for, managing difficult situations, and providing information about available services and how to access them.
Groups run across Carlisle, Eden and West Cumbria.
