Local Minds offer a wide range of mental health services without needing a GP referral. Services vary by area but may include talking therapies, counselling, crisis helplines, advocacy, employment and training support, befriending, and other community‑based wellbeing activities. Each Local Mind adapts its services to meet the needs of its community. The Lighthouse, run by Carlisle Eden Mind, provides in-person, one-to-one crisis support in Carlisle and Eden.

Opening times
Mindline Cumbria is available Monday to Friday from 12 noon to 11pm and on weekends Sat/Sun from 5pm to 11pm. The Lighthouse operates on an appointment-only basis.
