Chrysalis provides personalised, flexible support for adults with learning disabilities across North and parts of West Cumbria. Established in 1984, the organisation offers a wide range of activities designed to enrich lives—such as creative arts, horticulture, swimming, sailing, walking, cycling, photography, independent living skills, counselling, advice, and work experience. Support plans are tailored for each individual and can be delivered one‑to‑one, in groups, or through intensive support approaches. The service also operates a social enterprise (Chrysalis Wholefoods) in Wigton, providing real-world work experience and skill development opportunities.
