The HEAT service, delivered by social enterprise The Wise Group, provides free, confidential and tailored energy advice to households facing fuel poverty or difficulty managing energy bills. Support includes help with reducing energy use, lowering bills, negotiating with suppliers, tackling fuel debt, accessing grants, vouchers, hardship funds, and identifying energy‑efficiency improvements. HEAT mentors offer long‑term, one‑to‑one support, working with households until issues are resolved. The service operates across the UK with a focus on supporting vulnerable residents, including those on low incomes, older people, families with children, and individuals with long‑term health conditions.
