Memory Matters and Later Life Service – West (Workington)

This service supports adults experiencing new or suspected memory difficulties, including dementia, as well as older people whose anxiety, depression or psychosis are complicated by physical health needs.

This service supports adults experiencing new or suspected memory difficulties, including dementia, as well as older people whose anxiety, depression or psychosis are complicated by physical health needs. The team offers assessments, evidence‑based treatments and ongoing support at home, in GP surgeries, care homes, clinics or hospital settings. Staff include psychiatrists, nurses, occupational therapists, psychologists and support workers, working closely with families, social care and community services. Referrals are made by GPs, social workers or other health professionals.
