Crisis Payments

Crisis Payments provide immediate short-term help for people facing an unexpected financial crisis.

This may include:

• emergencies such as floods, fires or medical situations
• support for people fleeing domestic abuse
• replacement of essential household items
• sudden income loss, such as redundancy

The fund is available to people who have no other way to pay for what they need. It is intended to help with one-off emergencies and cannot cover ongoing living costs.
