The Household Support Fund helps vulnerable households who are in crisis or facing an emergency that’s out of their control.
The fund is for people who have no other way to pay for what they need. It is intended to meet a one-off need rather than ongoing expenses.
Support varies depending on your situation and will be subject to financial checks. You may also be referred to other organisation for longer-term help, such as:
- money and debt advice
- budgeting support
- maximising income
- short-term support with food
Household Support Fund applications are closed
The online application form for the Household Support Fund is now closed. All available funding allocated to Cumberland Council has been awarded.
