Have your say on the revised Public Library Byelaws

The consultation runs for one month from Friday 5 June to Friday 3 July.

We are proposing to update the Public Library Byelaws under section 19 of the Public Libraries and Museums Act 1964.

Public Library Byelaws set out how library buildings and services are used. Updating them helps ensure they are up to date, legally compliant, and reflect how our libraries operate today.

Residents can view the draft byelaws and share their views during the consultation period.
