Scotby Road to Park Road, Carlisle: carriageway improvements

Cumberland Council is informing residents and businesses that there will be carriageway improvement works from Scotby Road to Park Road in Carlisle.

These works are scheduled to commence on Monday 23 October 2023 for five days concluding on Friday 27 October 2023. The improvement works will be taking place on Scotby Road to Park Road, in Durranhill, Carlisle.

To enable the council to complete works safely, during these works, there will be a full road closure along Scotby Road and Park Road, with a diversion route along Montgomery Way – for full details please visit the One Network website.

The improvement works will be carried out under a daytime road closure from approximately 8am to 4pm, daily. Access and egress may be intermittently affected at times throughout the works.

If residents or businesses require access to their property, we kindly request that this is discussed with the Traffic Marshal who will be on site during the works.

Access will be maintained for emergency services during the works.
