RESIDENTS are invited to an event in Braithwaite to find out more about waste, highways and how to report environmental crimes.
The Lakes to Sea Community Panel is hosting the event, which is on Monday, 27 October, at the Braithwaite Institute Village Hall. It runs from 5pm until 7.30pm.
It is an opportunity for residents to learn about the council's new reporting system for issues like fly-tipping and dog fouling, and to ask questions about waste collection and highway maintenance.
Council staff will be on hand to answer questions and explain how local services are managed. Tea and coffee will be provided.
No booking is required, but attendees are encouraged to arrive early to catch the full presentations.
