Residents in the Petteril area are invited to find out more about their community.
The Petteril Community Panel is hosting an event where locals can meet their councillors, and chat to lots of community organisations including the council, police and voluntary organisations.
The event is on:
- Tuesday, 10 February
- Harraby Catholic Club, Edgehill Road, Carlisle
- 4pm until 6.30pm
Those attending include community police officers, housing providers Riverside, Age UK and Cumbria Voluntary Services, who will be on hand to chat about volunteering.
From the council, there will be health and wellbeing staff, enforcement officers, staff from our adult learning service, and representatives from our family services.
Spiral, the Sleep Patrol and Futureproof Cumbria will also be there with lots of information.
Tea, coffee and soup will be available, and everyone is welcome.
This event is hosted by the Petteril Community Panel, which covers the wards of Botcherby, Currock, Harraby South, Harraby North and Upperby.
