Cumberland Council is carrying out essential maintenance on Wellington Bridge next week, as part of its annual programme to ensure the continued safety and resilience of local infrastructure.
On Wednesday 18 February 2026, council teams will remove saplings and vegetation on and around the bridge structure. These works are vital to prevent damage, maintain sight lines, and safeguard the long‑term condition of the bridge.

- Closure time: 9:00am – 3:30pm
