Cumberland Council is inviting residents to an evening with bestselling crime author and Cumberland Libraries Ambassador M.W. Craven at the newly refurbished Carlisle Library to celebrate the launch of his latest novel, The Killer's Mark.
Taking place on Monday 14 September at 6pm, the special author talk will give fans a unique opportunity to hear from one of the UK's most popular crime writers about the inspiration behind the latest instalment in the much-loved Poe and Tilly series.
The talk will be hosted in the recently transformed Carlisle Library, which reopened following a major refurbishment and now provides a modern, welcoming space for reading, learning, creativity and community connection.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to have their copy of The Killer's Mark personally signed by Mike on the evening.

M.W. Craven has built a loyal following through his internationally acclaimed Poe and Tilly novels, and The Killer's Mark is the latest instalment in the gripping detective series inspired by locations across Carlisle and Cumbria.
