New walking, wheeling and cycling routes have been completed at California Road Public Open Space in Carlisle, helping to provide better connections for the local community.

The new paths connect Greymoor Way with California Road and California Lane, making it easier for people to travel between their homes, James Rennie School, local shops and bus stops.

The improvements have been delivered by Cumberland Council, with funding through developer contributions linked to nearby housing developments by Story Homes and Gleeson Homes.
