Cumberland Council will be completing clearance works on Durranhill Road in Carlisle to remove overgrown vegetation on the footway.
The works will take place between 8.00am and 4.00pm, from Monday 13 April to Friday 17 April 2026.
To allow the works to be carried out safely, temporary two-way traffic lights will be in operation in phased sections along Durranhill Road as the works progress. The footway will be closed during this time, with temporary dropped crossings provided where required.
Bus services may be affected while the works are underway, so please check directly with the bus provider for updated times.
