The summer holidays may have just begun, but Cumberland Council is encouraging headteachers and school leaders to get ahead of the new academic year by signing up for a free workshop focused on improving road safety outside schools.
Executive Members will be considering proposals to review and consult on the Home to School travel policy at an upcoming Executive meeting due to be held on 23 July.
Cumberland Council are encouraging parents and carers of children starting primary or secondary school in September 2024, to apply online for home to school transport before the deadline on Friday 31 May.
