The Governors are seeking to employ a caring and committed Teaching Assistant.

Your role would be to support the teacher in delivering the primary curriculum. This will include working with small groups of children. The role will involve supporting, assessing and recording pupils’ learning and identifying the next steps in learning.

Depending on the candidate it may include working with children who have special educational needs. Experience in supporting children with personal, emotional and behavioural needs is desirable.

We are looking for applicants who are:

• Practising Catholics or those committed to sustaining the strong Catholic Ethos of the school.
• Able to demonstrate good levels of English and Maths skills to support our pupils.
• Creative and highly motivated, with passion and patience for supporting quality learning experiences.
• Level 2 or 3 in Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
• Emotionally intelligent, placing immense value on developing the whole child.
• Able to communicate effectively with children, parents and colleagues
• Be able to work effectively as part of a team.
