Teaching Assistant

Fixed Term – Summer Term 2024

 (Maternity Leave Cover)

Hours: 30 hours per week, Monday – Friday (term time only).
 

Scotby CE School is a friendly, welcoming and inclusive primary school.  We are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to join our experienced and hardworking early years team.  Initially, this will be for the summer term only.

The successful candidate will:

• Have previous experience of working within a school or childcare setting.
• Hold NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in a relevant area.
• Be willing to undertake further training to develop expertise.
• Be confident in working with pupils within EYFS.
• Demonstrate adaptability and flexibility in working practices.
• Have high expectations and demonstrate a commitment to achieving the best for all of our children.
• Be a committed team member but also be able to work with independence when required.
• Be enthusiastic and positive.
