School Administrator

Westfield Nursery and Primary school is a ‘happy, friendly and welcoming school’. The governors would like to appoint an Administrator to start on or as soon after Monday 29th April 2024.

BS7 £26,421 - £27,334  pro-rata salary £18,818 - £19,470
30.00 hours per week term time only 40wks
8.30am – 3.30pm daily 

We are seeking an organised, calm and approachable person with relevant skills and experience to join our administration team. You will be able to deal with everything from visitors to the school, finance queries, first aid, answering the phones, and ordering resources. 

The ideal candidate will need to have: 
• Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills and be able to remain calm and professional under pressure 
• Strong ICT, literacy and numeracy skills and the ability to operate relevant databases/ICT applications 
• The ability to work well both as part of a team and independently, using their own initiative and maintaining confidentiality 
• Be willing to undertake first aid and welfare duties 
• A positive, enthusiastic, flexible and caring approach and willingness to be involved in the life of the school 
• Good communication skills so that they can relate well to children, staff, parents and the community
