School Administrator

Permanent starting September 2024 

BS3 £22,737- £23,114 (pro rata) plus the living wage top up – hourly rate £12.00

37 hours term time only plus 1 week

Pennine Way is a large Primary School in Carlisle which benefits from the excellent facilities within its location at Harraby Community Campus. 

The Governors are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, well-organised, self-motivated school administrator to work on the main reception desk and as part of the office team. Answering the door and phone calls, carryout general office duties between the school. As we use a variety of software systems IT skills are essential for this role.  The successful candidate will need  to work as part of a team as well as being able to work independently. You will need sound written and verbal communication skills and understand the importance of confidentiality. We would expect the successful candidate to have a willingness to become a fire warden and first aider, training will be given.  

The ability to form good relationships with children, parents and other colleagues is essential.
