Fixed Term – Full Time 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant (30 hpw) – fixed term until 18th July 2025. There may be the opportunity for this to be extended. 

PCD5 £23893 (FTE per annum pro rata) (30 hpw) term time only plus 1 week INSET

The Governors of Warwick Bridge Primary School are looking to recruit a lively, enthusiastic, well-motivated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to work with a SEN pupil in the Early Years. The successful candidate should be capable of integrating swiftly and successfully into our hard working, friendly and experienced team as soon as possible. 

The successful candidate will:

•    Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification or equivalent.
•    Have experience of the Early Years and Foundation Stage (EYFS)
•    Have experience of working with SEND children
•    Be committed to ensuring every child achieves their full potential
•    Have high expectations for all pupils and be committed to raising standards
•    Have good listening and behaviour management skills
•    Have a good understanding of, and commitment to, the safeguarding and welfare of children
•    Be able to follow direction from the class teacher and also use their own initiative
•    Be enthusiastic, motivated and fully prepared to participate in the wider life of the school 
•    Have a willingness to work with a committed staff team
•    Work with the pupil for part of the lunch hour each day
