Permanent Part-Time Early Years Senior Teaching Assistant
(The role is permanent, subject to a 3 month probationary period)
PDC7 £27,711 ( A) per annum pro rata
Frizington Nursery School & Pre-School are looking to employ a permanent Early Years Senior Teaching Assistant
who is friendly, enthusiastic and passionate about working with children in the Early Years Foundation Stage.
It is an exciting time at Frizington Nursery School as we continue to grow and expand our school. This post will
require you to work in our School Nursery Classroom with our 3-4 years and be a key person who takes lead on our
rising 3 year olds.
You will have the full support from the Senior Leadership Team to learn and develop in this new,
exciting and pivotal role within our wonderful Nursery School.
Working hours are 32.5 hours per week, term time + 1 week to start on 1st September 2025
The suitable candidate must have:
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
- GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English
The successful candidate must also be able to:
- Work constructively as part of a team
- Liaise effectively with staff and parents
- Promote inclusion of all pupils within the Early Years classroom
- Show initiative and hold high expectations for all pupils including those with SEND
- Display a professional attitude at all times and desire to continue their professional development
- Demonstrate their experience of working in the Early Years Foundation Stage
- Have excellent communication skills
- Have a secure knowledge of child development
- Have the confidence and knowledge to plan and lead curriculum activities and provision
