Permanent Part-Time Assistant Early Years Leader
(The role is permanent, subject to a 3 month probationary period)
PDC7 £27,711 (A) per annum pro rata
Frizington Nursery School & Preschool are looking to employ a permanent Assistant Early Years Leader who is friendly, enthusiastic and passionate about working with children in the Early Years Foundation Stage. It is an exciting time at Frizington Nursery school as we continue to grow and expand our school.
This post will require you to work in our Preschool Classroom and lead our baby room which caters for children from the ages of 6months to
around 18months old and will commence as soon as possible. You will have the full support from the Senior Leadership Team to learn and develop in this new, exciting & pivotal role within our wonderful Nursery School.
The post will be 30 hours per week, term time + 2 weeks. Discounted childcare for 0-5 year-olds available. The post
will commence on Monday 1st September 2025.
The suitable candidate must have:
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
- GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English
The successful candidate must also be able to:
- Work constructively as part of a team
- Liaise effectively with staff and parents
- Have safeguarding knowledge and experience and be willing to be level 3 trained
- Promote inclusion of all pupils within the Early Years classrooms
- Show initiative and hold high expectations for pupils
- Display a professional attitude at all times and desire to continue their professional development
- Demonstrate their experience of working in the Early Years Foundation Stage
- Have excellent communication skills
- Have a secure knowledge of child development
- Have the confidence and knowledge to plan and lead curriculum activities and provision
