Senior Teaching Assistant - SEMH
32.5 hours/week, 39 weeks per year
Starting Salary: £20845 - £21532 incl holiday pay (PCD7)
Start: 1st September 2025

You will support the learning of a number of SEND pupils, specialising in working with pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs, in or out of the classroom. You will have a primary focus on maintaining good order and keeping students on task.

You will establish productive working relationships with pupils, acting as a role model and setting high expectations so students achieve to the best of their abilities.  You may work as part of a multi-agency team as well as closely with family and carers.

This role involves working with students whose behaviour may be challenging.  No two days will be the same but building strong relationships and watching our students achieve will make it fulfilling and rewarding.
