Teacher – Full Time (Maternity Cover)                  

From September 2025 to March 2026
 

This is a wonderful opportunity to join our friendly team as a maternity leave cover teacher to teach a Year 2 class.  The successful applicant will join an experienced team dedicated to putting pupils’ well-being at the heart of everything we do and will be supported by a school committed to high standards of continuous professional development.

Applicants must meet the DFE Teachers’ Standards, be highly effective teachers and have a strong commitment to their own continuing professional development.

Robert Ferguson School is committed to safeguarding the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful candidates will be required to undertake an enhanced disclosure via the Disclosure Bureau (DBS) and references will be taken from previous employers prior to starting in post.
