Full-time Temporary Teacher (Maternity Cover)
The Head Teacher and Governing Body of Raughton Head CE School and Nursery wish to appoint an enthusiastic, well organised and highly motivated teacher to join our friendly hard-working team from September 2025 for one year or longer, dependent on the current postholder.
The successful candidate will have responsibility for a mixed year classroom comprising of no more than 20 children and will have had experience of teaching across KS1 and KS2.
We are looking for a candidate who is:
Motivated and enthusiastic about teaching
An excellent classroom practitioner
Able to work well in a small hardworking team
Keen to participate in wider school responsibilities; valuing relationships with parents, pupils, staff, governors and the wider community
Passionate about making learning a challenging and enjoyable experience
With support, willing to lead the school in a curriculum area, preferably Mathematics.
