Fixed Term (Maternity Cover) School Cook

Start date:  3rd September 2025 End date: 17th July 2026

We wish to appoint a School Cook to prepare, cook and serve high quality meals in an efficient and effective manner whilst minimising food waste.

OP1 £23,656 per annum, pro rata  ( plus the living wage supplement - hourly rate £12.60)

Term Time only, 15 hours per week. Monday – Friday 10 am – 1:00pm

The applicant must be able to work independently to cater for both staff and pupils between the ages of 2 – 11.

It is desirable for the applicant to have experience working in a kitchen environment and for them to hold a Level 2 Food Hygiene and Allergens qualification, or to be willing to undertake training to achieve the necessary qualifications.
