Head of School

The Governing Body of Distington Community School is seeking to recruit an inspirational, ambitious and passionate Head of School to work with the Executive Headteacher to continue to lead the school forward, maintain stability, raise educational outcomes and drive improvement. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced senior leader to make a real difference. You will need to be resilient, creative and show us that you know how to develop a school to be the absolute best for its pupils, families, staff and local community.

The post is permanent, full time from January 2026.

Leadership Pay range  £56,316 to  £63,815
