Class Teacher (Full-Time, Permanent)

Start Date: 1st January 2026

The Trustees of Stanwix School are seeking to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Class Teacher to join our friendly and inclusive school community. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity initially teaching year 1, for a reflective practitioner who is passionate about high-quality, inclusive teaching and eager to make a meaningful impact on children’s lives.

What We are Looking For
We are looking for someone who can:
•    Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners
•    Be able to foster strong relationships with pupils
•    Be able to develop and maintain strong and professional relationships with staff and parents. 
•    Create a positive and inclusive classroom culture with high expectations for behaviour and achievement
•    Adapt teaching to extend advanced learners and support pupils with SEND, EAL, or those in receipt of Pupil Premium
•    Work collaboratively with colleagues to contribute to curriculum development and school life
•    Support pupils’ wellbeing and personal development in line with our school values
•    Embrace professional learning and reflective practice as part of their development
