Permanent Full-Time School Business Manager

The governors of Seaton Academy are seeking to appoint a highly motivated School Business Manager to help lead our school.

Hours: 37 hours per week (46 weeks pro rata -Term time, plus 2 weeks)
Contract type: Full-time, permanent

Salary: OP10 – to OP12 £36,363 – £44,075 FTE

Reporting to: Headteacher
Responsible for: Business manager role and management of non-teaching support staff
 

Seaton Academy is a friendly and vibrant school. The Governors wish to appoint an enthusiastic, experienced and well organised Business Manager to join our dedicated team.

The school business manager (SBM) is responsible for managing the strategy and operation of the business functions of our school, including financial management, health and safety, human resources, compliance and administration.

They will advise on and implement the day-to-day support that enables the school to operate effectively and efficiently, and that allows other members of the leadership team to focus on teaching and learning.

Seaton Academy is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. The Governing Body will not accept applications from candidates who have been disqualified or who live in the same household as a disqualified person under the Childcare (Disqualifications)
Regulations 2009. The successful candidate will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS
disclosure and references will be sought.
