Hours of work: 37 hours per week (Monday – Friday)

The Nelson Thomlinson School is a high performing secondary school on the fringe of the Lake District in Cumbria, serving the needs of the small town of Wigton and its surrounding catchment area. We have a strong, academic ethos whilst recognising the comprehensive nature of our intake and constantly strive for further improvement and for our pupils. Ofsted’s most recent visit in October 2023 highlighted our strong traditions and a school where pupils (and staff) are proud to live out its values.

In planning for the retirement of the existing post holder, we are looking to recruit a new School Business Manager. We can offer you an exciting opportunity to work in a welcoming and supportive environment for staff and pupils alike.
