The front of a depression to the south-west of the British Isles will weaken and break up, and a ridge of high pressure south of Iceland will take over. RSTs just above zero in Lakes West, Pennines North, Carlisle and Southern areas. Overcast and wet conditions today with strong easterly winds up to 12 m/s. Rain totalling up to 1.6mm expected, most intense at midday.
