Maternity Cover Teacher (Temporary)

Required to start 23rd February 2026

Position will initially be until 31st August 2026, with the possibility to extend further.

We have an exciting opportunity for a talented teacher. The Governors and Headteacher of Seaton St. Paul’s C of E Junior School are seeking to appoint a creative, hardworking and innovative teacher, for a full time, temporary, post . The post will be in KS2. You will need to bring enthusiasm, drive and above all – a love of learning to support our team to achieve the very best for all our children. We are an inclusive, friendly school with a dedicated team and a warm family atmosphere.

You will:
• Have a good understanding of how to challenge and support children with a wide range of needs
• Be imaginative, delivering engaging and exciting sessions or lessons for our children
• Have a secure understanding of assessment, and be able to place this at the heart of your teaching
• Be a team-player with good communication and support our whole staff family
• Most importantly, be committed to professional development and have high expectations of your own practice
• Have a good understanding of safeguarding and how we support the whole child and family
