Teacher

The Governors of St. Bridget’s C of E School, Parton, Whitehaven, are looking to appoint a teacher to teach a mixed- age year 1 2 class. This is to cover the maternity leave of the current post holder. Start date from 16th March 2026 until December 31st 2026.  

We are looking for a dynamic teacher who:

•    Maintains the positive ethos and is willing to promote the Christian values of the school.
•    Is a hard-working, resilient team player, who is enthusiastic and caring.
•    Someone who is flexible in a small school setting.
•    Is an excellent classroom practitioner, planning and delivering lessons which deliver good progress and achievement for all.
•    Sets high expectations and delivers excellent progress through high-quality teaching and learning. 
•    Has experience teaching of Read Write Inc.
•    Experience of working with Trainee Teachers and an interest in Literacy is desirable.
