The Local Governing Body of Ellenborough Academy invite applications from appropriately qualified teachers for this part-time post, teaching a mixed Key Stage One class. The post is offered on a fixed term contract for 2 terms due to maternity cover.

The hours are to be agreed at interview as it is a job share
 Salary is MPR range ( dependant on experience.)

·    An excellent primary classroom practitioner with a deep understanding of the KS1 curriculum, assessment and pedagogy.
·    Someone who will work collaboratively with other members of staff, be flexible, well organised and enthusiastic and build positive relationships with pupils and their parents.
·    Someone who is committed to get the best out of every child and to providing an imaginative and exciting curriculum.
·    Someone who will continue to develop our strong personal development offer.

The successful candidate will:
·    Have experience of working within KS1 
·    Be able to plan and deliver lessons that meet children’s individual needs and capture their interests in all areas of the KS1 curriculum. 
·    Have ambitious expectations of pupils’ work and behaviour, engendering respect through positive relationships and consistency.
·    Be a committed team member who will play an active part in the life of the school, engage positively with families and lead by example. 
·    Know how to keep our children protected, safe and provide an environment where they can thrive.
