Fixed Term, Full Time/Part-Time Higher Level Teaching Assistant
 

The Children, staff and governors of Beckermet C of E Primary School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated and skilled Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our wonderful, dedicated team from April 2026.  The post will be initially until 31st August 2027 due to budget constraints and fluctuating pupil numbers.

PCD8ii £32,061 - £32,957 pro rata term time

The person appointed must have a NVQ Level 3 or equivalent with excellent numeracy and literacy skills.  A working understanding of effective teaching and learning is essential, and you must be able to demonstrate an understanding of how children learn

•    Provide PPA cover for class teachers (using planned schemes of work)
