Kitchen Assistant

Kitchen Assistant 22.5 hours per week

Required from Tuesday 5th May 2026

Ashfield Infant and Nursery School is looking for an inspiring and enthusiastic kitchen assistant to join our highly professional and dedicated team.

OP1 £24,413 per annum , pro rata Term time only

The successful candidate will:
• Have an ability to work calmly under pressure and switch between tasks with ease
• An interest in food and nutrition and a passion for providing a quality service
• Previous experience in a catering or school environment is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
• Be able to work as part of a team.
• Be able to build positive relationships with pupils, staff
• Be prepared to be a dedicated and flexible team member.
• Be committed to the safeguarding and well-being of all children.
